So I got the opportunity to use some copic markers and I fell in love. <3 Copic markers work very well with colored pencils, and really make the colors pop by give the finished piece a more polished look . They also can provide the user with a quicker and more controlled blend. I'm hooked the only negative to copic markers is they are 6.oo a piece. I know right a pretty intense price but, they are more than worth it.
If some of u can remember I did a witchblade piece a long time ago. The previous piece is no comparison to this one because it was made in 2007. It's really exciting to look back at old artwork and see how you have gotten better over the years, that alone make me want to draw more. Even though I wanted a more recent version of this piece I mainly did it to honor Michael Turner. A man that has inspired me beyond measure and has me hooked on his comic books. His love for fantasy art inspired me to branch out and try new things. So with his departure July 27th of last year I wanted to post a piece in honor of him. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
